The Galaxy Mode replaces the normal story mode from prior Dragon Ball fighting games. Each character in the game is represented by a planet in the game’s galaxy. There are various mission pathways on these planets. Each task has different benefits and disadvantages that will affect the entire fight. Completing some of these tasks will grant you access to powerups and/or new quest pathways.
Other modes of play include the Battle Zone, in which players compete against fighters from different zones.
